Shadows on the Hudson

This is one of the nicest restaurants I’ve ever been to. Beautiful high end ambience, amazing water views, especially at sunset. Wonderful, fast service, the food is exceptional. Had a delicious old fashioned, a large extraordinary ribeye on a giant cutting board was a really an outstanding presentation. It is pricey, well worth the money especially for special occasions. They also have a patio bar that is right on the water which is spectacular to have drinks at sunset. Definitely will be coming back next time in town.

Wow wow wow!! My husband and I decided to take a day trip to walk the Walkway over Hudson bridge and planned to have dinner here…Jayla was our server and she was absolutely amazing. We live in NYC and Atlanta and we are major foodies. The food as amazing the service was exquisite and the views and ambiance? Perfection! We were celebrating our birthdays and Jayla brought out ice cream, champagne and sang us happy birthday! It was amazing. I am so impressed! This has solidified our decision to purchase a home upstate! We love you Shadows! We will see you soon!

We came here for the Sunday brunch at the end of the summer. I would highly suggest making reservations. There is plenty of parking. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Lots of beautiful decor which makes it look elegant. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the employees at the pasta and crepe station. There is a huge variety of breakfast and lunch food. The pasta station had lots of great extras including the cheese wheel. We asked to sit outside. There are beautiful views of the Hudson River and the bridge. You can get great pics with all of the beautiful backgrounds. At the lower level, you can park and take a walk on the pathway close to the water. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

We always have such a great experience at Shadows on the Hudson! The cocktails are amazing, the food is always fresh, and the service is consistently wonderful. We especially love the calamari and the Fra Diavolo, but honestly, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. And of course, you absolutely can’t beat that beautiful view of the Hudson River. Definitely one of our favorite spots!

The service here never misses! We usually come for happy hour but this time we came for dinner with our kids. It feels like every server cares about your experience including the managers...they all work as a team amd are super polite and make you feel so welcome. The cocktails are unique and well crafted, the food always tastes fresh and made to order, and the atmosphere is awesome...bonus if you can get a spot outside in season
