Service and atmosphere was very good. and quiet typical for an Iris Pub. Food was good with large portions. I had the Fish and Chips. Fish seemed like it was not your typical cod. Seemed more like some sort of other white fish. Also the way it was battered it did not taste like it was freshly battered on site. Possibly purchased already and just baked on site? Not sure. Chili was excellent

Kept hearing about this place, so I went. I was greeted right away and escorted to the bar downstairs where Kelly took awesome care of me . I ordered the French onion soup and a steak. The soup was delicious the steak cooked perfectly and was delicious as well! I ate the steak so fast no pic lol

Came for football Sunday before hopping on the train and it was great. Kelly & Jasmine took great care of us. Put our games on for us even though we came in the first quarter and food was delish. Great beer list. Can’t wait to come again.

I went here a couple of days ago being in the area for work and was in the mood for a really good filet - unfortunately, I did not get that here. The server was very nice, but I ordered the regular filet and he put in the filet with their cream peppercorn sauce (I hate peppercorns so I would never order this.) I didn’t really have much time to correct the situation, so I ate it anyways which was a mistake. The filet was in two separate pieces, and the one half was well done, and NOT the texture of a filet at all. It was all hard grizzle and fat. You could barely chew the other half of the steak. It was actually one of the worst steak/filets I’ve ever had. I had a Texas Roadhouse next to where I was staying and decided against it since this place said it was a local steakhouse and I wanted to support local rather than a chain. I now wish I went to Texas Roadhouse :( I wasted about $60 on this meal. The vegetables also were eh, the green beans had the texture and color of canned green beans. And the mashed potatoes were ok, but had a film on them when they were brought out. I also ordered the Reuben egg rolls as an appetizer - they were ok, too greasy honestly. Overall, this was a really bad first impression and I’m so upset i spent so much $ on this meal.

Stopped by for lunch. Very close to the train station and not far away from the Walkway over the Hudson. Fish and chips are surprisingly good! Soup of the day is also delicious. The server was attentive.
